Professor LI graduated from Law School of Wuhan University with J.S.D. and then began teaching at Xiamen University Law School in 2003. In 2008, he finished postdoctoral research work in Xiamen University Law School. Professor LI works in the field of fiscal and tax law, teaching Chinese Tax Law, Chinese Law Concerning the Tax Administration and Tax Collection, Corporate Tax Law. He published many articles and books in his research area (see following list of scholarship). He now is member of Chinese Society of Fiscal and Tax Law, and member of Fujian Society of Fiscal and Tax Law. He also serves as an arbitrator with the Xiamen Arbitration Commission and Quanzhou Arbitration Commission, Legal Consultant of Xiamen Municipal Office of State Administration Taxation. Professor LI was a visiting scholar at Hull University Law School in England from March to June in 2010 and a visiting professor in Taiwan University Law School from September to November in 2012.
