Chinese Criminal Law, Foreign Criminal Law, Criminology and Criminal Policy

His research focuses on interdisciplinary integration of Criminal Law Theory & Practice, with special interest in Science of Construction of Criminal Law and Philosophy of Criminal law, Institutional Analysis and Policy Research of Criminal Procedure Law and Criminal Evidence, the Theoretical and Empirical Research on Criminology and Criminal Policy.

 

Courses taught

Criminal Code-General Principles, Criminal Code-Kinds of Offenses at the undergraduate level and Seminar on Criminal Law, Comparative Criminal Law at the graduate level

 

Dr. LI is an Assistant Professor in the School of Law at the University of Xiamen. He received his J.S.D in Criminal Law from Wuhan University and received his LL.M. in Criminal Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

He now is a researcher and member of Center for Economic Crime Research and Japanese Law Research Center of Xiamen University. Dr. LI has served as a principle investigator and researcher for a number of locally, provincial or ministry, and national funded research projects.
