Professor SUN works in the field of administrative Law, administrative procedural Law, specializing in administrative Law, administrative procedural Law. She published many articles and books in her research area (see following list of scholarship). She now is a member of the institution of administrative law of the Chinese law society and a member of the institution of Dongbiwu thoughts of law research of the Chinese law society. She also serves as an arbitrator with the Xiamen Arbitration Commission, Legislative consultant of Xiamen Municipal Government, Legal consultant of Xiamen Legislative Affairs Bureau, Legal consultant of Xiamen Internal Revenue Service. Full professor SUN was a visiting scholar at Washington University Law School in 2006-2007 and also a visiting scholar in Iowa University School of Law in 2013-2014.
