Visit by Laurent Grosclaude, Vice-President of Toulouse University and Wang Xiaokang, representative of UT in China

On June 2nd, Professor Laurent Grosclaude, Vice-President of Toulouse University in charge for the international cooperation and Wang Xiaokang, representative of UT in China visited School of Law, Xiamen University. The Associate Dean of XMU Law School Professor Zhu Yansheng and Professor Liu Yongguang warmly received the visiting guests.

Professor Zhu extended warm welcome to Professor Laurent Grosclaude on behalf of XMU law school and then introduced the general information of our school. He emphasized the importance of international academic exchange and cooperation and thus the necessity to build a lasting and mutually beneficial relationship regarding academic research, faculty and students.

During the talks, the two parties mainly discussed the possibility of cooperation involving exchange of faculy and students. Professor Laurent Grosclaude extended warm welcome to Professor Zhu and other faculty of XMU law school to give lectures in UT in the future and showed great interest in the International Master Program in Chinese Law. He also provided general information of the master and doctor program in UT.

L' Université de Toulouse is a consortium of French universities, grandes écoles and other institutions of higher education and research, named after one of the earliest universities established in Europe in 1229, and including the successor universities to that earlier university.
