On September 15, the new foreign graduate students of grade 2015 attended their first meeting in School of Law, Xiamen University. Among them are PhD candidates, master candidates and exchange students from brother universities.
The new campus, the new life. As what Valentina, an exchange student from Milan University, Italy, said that she felt like a child once more in the totally different campus and country. Everything seemed so exciting.
At the orientation meeting, the vice-dean prof. Lin gave a brief introduction to the history and development of School of Law, Xiamen University and her welcome to all the new students present the meeting. Deputy chairman of the school council Mr. Guo Jinxing also gave his welcoming remarks to the students.
AP Ms. Zhang Binxin, teaching secretary Ms. Liu Qiaoying, student counselor Ms. Song Leihua and international coordinator Dong Xiaoqing gave their remarks separately concerning the courses arrangement, the regulations of the school, facilities in the campus and other information.
At the end of the meeting, students exchanged their WeChat (the most popular instant message app in China) and established a chat group in the convenience of communicating with each other in the future.
We do hope they will enjoy their study and life here. Wish them a fruitful and delightful stay in this beautiful campus!
