On May 22th, Professor Chunlin Leonhard, Loyola University New Orleans Law School, met with Associate Dean Prof. Zhu Yansheng and Associate Dean Lin Xiuqin in 219 meeting room of School of Law, Xiamen University.
Professor Zhu extended warm welcome to Professor Leonhard on behalf of XMU law school and then introduced the general information of our school. He emphasized the importance of international academic exchange and cooperation and thus the necessity to build a lasting and mutually beneficial relationship regarding academic research, faculty and students. He also proposed the cooperation in health care law, media law and sport law where more attention need to be paid by the law professors and experts in China.
Professor Lin expressed gratitude for Professor Leonhard's visit on behalf of Intellectual Property Research Institute of XMU, gave a brief introduction of IPRI and extended warm invitation to students of UNH to attend the 2015 IP summer school to be held in July. She look forward to more cooperation in exchange of both faculty and students in JM program and intellectual property.
Professor Leonhard provided detailed information of its LL.M. program, including the admissions, courses and other valuable information. She also extended welcome to faculty and students from Xiamen University to the program in Loyola and also exchange program.
